Senior MLOps Engineer - Artificial Intelligence

Overview In this Senior MLOps role, you design, build, and maintain AI systems that power Bloomberg’s AI-driven products. You’ll optimize the model development life cycle, automate ML workflows, and ensure production performance at scale. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable, low-latency AI solutions that help clients discover and analyze vast financial data. This is a chance to shape production ML platforms within a leading financial tech environment. Compensation / Benefitsmedical, dental, vision 401(k) + matchdisability benefitspaid holidays & PTOlife insurancewellness programs Responsibilities Architect, build, and diagnose production AI applications and systems Collaborate on production systems and write, test, and maintain production quality code Define and provide strong SLAs around latency, throughput and resource usage Work with AI Platform teams to operationalize continuous model training, inference, and monitoring workflows Key requirements 4+ years of experience with an object-oriented programming language (Python, Go, etc.)A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience Understanding of CS fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms Honest problem-solver with ability to collaborate with peers, stakeholders and management Industry experience with machine learning teams Working knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch, ONNX, Deep Speed Experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Buildpacks Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure Track record of collaboration to achieve repeatable, high-quality outcomescollaborationproblem-solvingstakeholder engagement Python GoPyTorch
