Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry LocationMayfield Heights, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
  • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
  • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
  • Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements as outlined by the facility
Required Qualifications:
  • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)AHA BLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submissionACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
  • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
  • Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience gained within a single facility or location (combined experience considered)
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
  • Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments
