As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while responding to evolving needs with agility and professionalism.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with hospital staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Vaccines are required for hospital assignments. Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
