Sr Machine Learning Engineer

Overview In this role you will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions at scale within the DXT AI Platform, enabling scalable, responsible AI capabilities across Disney’s experiences. You will lead cross-functional efforts, implement production-grade ML systems and CI/CD pipelines, and drive observable, reliable deployments. The position emphasizes ownership of the AI/ML lifecycle, collaboration with product and engineering partners, and hands-on problem solving to deliver high-impact results. Compensation / Benefitsbonus and/or long-term incentive unitsmedical benefitsfinancial benefitscareer development opportunities Responsibilities Own the AI/ML platform backbone, including CI/CD, versioning, deployment, rollback, and release management Build observability for model/agent performance, drift, data quality, and latency with automated remediation Develop production-scale AI systems, including multi-step agentic workflows and orchestration Lead end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle delivery—from implementation to monitoring—on schedule Design and implement Responsible AI frameworks with safety, evaluation, and observability Establish evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agent systems to measure quality and safety Champion MLOps/LLMOps best practices across the platform Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and vendors to define requirements and deliver outcomes Provide hands-on technical leadership and drive architectural decisions across AI development and deployment Identify and resolve blockers to maintain project velocity Communicate technical strategy to executives and stakeholders Engage directly in solving high-complexity challenges to sustain velocity Drive innovation by experimenting with emerging AI technologies and frameworks Key requirements 5+ years designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale 1–2 years of production experience in Generative AI technologies Comprehensive MLOps/LLMOps experience with CI/CD, monitoring, versioning, observability Production deployment on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Expert-level Python programming Strong foundation in machine learning (statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning)Advanced prompt engineering and optimization for LLM interactions Experience with traditional ML techniques and modern deep learning Production-grade Generative AI experience deploying LLMs and multi-modal models Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience influencing in matrix organizationscommunicationcollaborationleadership PythonMLOps/LLMOpsCI/CD
