Cryomodule Assembly & Testing Technician, 1 Year Project at Fermilab (Batavia, IL) Our client, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, is looking for an experienced Cryomodule Assembly & Testing Technician on a full-time basis. Duties of the position: · Fabrication, assembly, installation and removal of a variety of electrical parts and sub-assemblies. · Wiring of custom control interface boxes based on schematics, drawings, & verbal/written instructions. · Cable assembly, layout, and termination in terminal blocks or connectors. · Instrumentation interface and readout. · Written documentation.
Requirements:
- Soldering experience
- Proven ability to work from typical electrical schematics used for industrial control systems or equivalent.
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Be able to lift 15lbs.
