Composites Production Tool Builder

Description: Of Services The Composites Production Tool Builder will read and interpret blueprints, lay out articles, cut parts or materials to size, and apply liquid or solid bonding agents in a manufacturing/production environment. Duties include operating autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycles, controlling heat, pressure, and timing conditions according to material specifications. This role requires sanding, burring, and smoothing areas, applying sealing resins to cut or exposed edges, monitoring and verifying quality of finished products, and completing repairs on composite, metal, or laminate bonded products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ply orientations and vacuum bagging processes, and must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical work in various positions and confined spaces.
