Patient Escort Days - Variable - .02 This position is responsible for the safe, comfortable, courteous, and timely transport of patients via prescribed transport vehicles. Core job responsibilities include working with the nursing staff to assist in the patient care related to the transfer and transport of the patient to and from the nursing unit. The role also involves the delivery of equipment and reallocation of transport devices to various areas within the organization. Greeting customers/patients and responding to their needs questions in the main lobby is also part of the job. Ensuring a clean and safe environment by maintaining safety standards and performing cleaning in the main lobby as needed is essential. Other duties as required are also expected. Education/Experience Requirements: Required: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
