About the role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lansing, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Nurse, Emergency Room, Michigan This position provides emergency care in fast-paced, high-acuity situations requiring sound judgment, patience, strong communication, and attention to detail. The role supports patient care, treatment administration, and collaboration with physicians while working night shifts. Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend.
Required Qualifications:
3 or more years of recent Emergency Department experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Tele experience and previous travel experience. Provides care for patients with varying needs, health conditions, and risk levels. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize care for multiple patients. Maintains composure and effective decision-making during urgent, life-threatening situations. Supports physicians with procedures, medication administration, and specialized treatments.
