Commissioning Agent (Mechanical Design)

Job TitleMechanical Design EngineerPosition RequirementsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldCertified Commissioning Agent through ACG, ASHRAE, or BCAActive Driver's License and vehicle requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for new and existing commercial buildingFunctional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including fire protection, HVAC, plumbing/piping, electrical, technology, instrumentation and controls, process, and lighting systemsProficient in applying applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipmentProject Management experience preferredWorking KnowledgeMinimum 5+ years of experience as a mechanical design engineer working with a consulting engineer or firm designing mechanical systems for facilities/buildingsBuilding Envelope Commissioning Experience, Monitored BasedCommissioning Experience and Retro Commissioning ExperienceAbility to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communicationsAbility to work well under pressure, juggle, and prioritize multiple projectsStrong organizational skills, detail-oriented, creative, self-motivated, and enthusiasticStrong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are requiredComputer literacy, including all core applications and the ability to quickly learn as neededExperienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
