NPs must have CA NP furnishing number) Completion of CA CSEC (California Controlled Substance Education Course (PA's Only, Must be actively working at a TJC-accredited hospital; Local & clean record are preferredDuties & ResponsibilitiesTake patient history, perform physical exam, make assessment and diagnosis. Order x-ray, labs, therapies, and nursing services. Perform or assist with procedures including laceration repair, central line insertion, chest tube insertion, etc. Initiate admissions, complete medical records, and facilitate referrals. Administer medication and transmit prescriptions under supervising physician's direction.
