Cedarburg, WI | Up to $41.00 per hour | Full-time, 3rd shift
A large independent high-pressure aluminum die casting manufacturer in the Cedarburg, Wisconsin area is hiring a Senior Process Control Technician for its 3rd shift. The plant is ISO-certified and supplies tier-one OEM customers. This role monitors and optimizes process parameters on automated die casting cells, leads root-cause analysis on casting defects, and works to improve first-pass yield and reduce scrap. This is a direct-hire position.

You will monitor and analyze critical process variables on automated, high-pressure aluminum die casting cells. These include melt temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, intensification pressures, cycle times, and die lubrication. You will use real-time shot monitoring systems and review X-ray inspection data to confirm parts meet customer specifications.
When defects appear, you will lead root-cause analysis on issues such as porosity, cold shuts, soldering, blisters, flash, misruns, and shrinkage.
