Senior Consultant, Advisory

Overview As a Senior Consultant in AECOM Advisory, you will define and lead workstreams to address clients’ strategic and operational challenges. You’ll apply frameworks, conduct research with AI tools, and engage stakeholders up to C‑suite level. You will model economics, synthesize insights, and craft executive-ready materials that drive decisions. This role sits at the intersection of policy, economics, and practical delivery within a global advisory team focused on infrastructure and community outcomes. Compensation / Benefitsmedical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability benefitspaid time off and leavesflexible work optionswell-being resourcesemployee assistance programretirement savings plan Responsibilities Apply solution frameworks to deconstruct client problems and generate actionable insights Leverage AI tools for baseline assessments and secondary research Conduct stakeholder interviews, including with C-suite executives Build and analyze financial models (DCF, CBA, NPV, IRR, CAGR) for policies and projects Use analytical and visualization tools (ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, Python, Tableau) to derive patterns Supervise and QC analytical tasks performed by junior team members Create executive-ready decks and data-driven narratives Synthesize inputs into coherent insights across decks, narratives, dashboards, and toolkits Contribute to business development through architecture/framework development, technical writing, and pitch creation Support risk management and compliance through logistics and administrative processes Key requirements Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of management consulting or related experience Strong interpersonal skills and client-service mindset Ability to work in a high-tempo, client-facing environment Self-directed, anticipatory, and receptive to iterative feedback Outstanding attention to detail and strong numerical reasoning Clear verbal communication and ability to present to C-suite audiences Collaborative, collegial team player in a diverse consulting environment Solid understanding of enterprise challenges across people, process, technology Curiosity about client businesses Client-service mindset Ability to work under pressure ArcGISCostarIMPLAN
