Microstrategy Architect

Overview As a Micro Strategy Developer at VUI, you will design and maintain Micro Strategy schemas, objects, and mobile dashboards to drive data-driven insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable reports and dashboards that support business decisions. You’ll optimize reports, troubleshoot data issues, and fine-tune performance to meet stakeholder needs. This role offers the chance to work with modern BI capabilities and potentially leverage the Micro Strategy SDK with Java. Responsibilities Create Micro Strategy schema and applications objects (attributes, metrics, prompts, filters, templates, compound metrics, custom groups, consolidation, security filters, transformation metrics)Develop complex Micro Strategy reports using advanced filters, conditional formatting, transformation metrics, level metrics, and custom groups Define relationships among attributes, facts and other objects; design hierarchies and drill functionality Design, develop, and maintain Micro Strategy reports with standard features (sort, rank, report filters, view filters, drill up/down, prompts)Create and maintain Micro Strategy Mobile Dashboards (graphs, panel stacks, selectors, widgets, swipe/tap)Troubleshoot and tune reports to fix data issues, incorrect joins, incorrect results, and performance issues Utilize Micro Strategy SDK with Java knowledge (advantage)Coordinate with offshore/onshore stakeholders and MSTR technology team Key requirements 8+ years of Micro Strategy experience Proficiency in schema design and reporting using Micro Strategy Strong knowledge of attributes, metrics, prompts, filters, and security filters Experience with Mobile Dashboards and dashboard interactivity Troubleshooting and performance tuning of Micro Strategy reports Good communication and stakeholder coordination Knowledge of Micro Strategy SDK with Java is an advantagecommunication skillscoordination with offshore/onshore stakeholdersteam collaboration Micro Strategy schema designattributes, metrics, prompts, filters, templatescustom groups, consolidation
