The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for converting the build process plans into coherent step-by-step instructions that technicians can easily follow to build components and assemblies or install components into an aircraft structure. Evaluates sequence of fabrication, assembly, and installation of the product for the assigned area(s) and converts the supplied build plans into work instructions focusing on quality, clarity, ease of understanding, and process control. Seeks optimized sequence of operations and clarity to ensure technicians can maintain configuration control, quality and process control. Identify applicable Industrial Process Qualifications needed to perform the task and launch Industrial Process Qualification request if needed. Identify applicable materials/parts and industrial assets (tools and equipment) requirements for the task.
