Summary: Highly regarded general dental practice in Edgewood, NM (15 minutes East of Albuquerque) seeking an associate general dentist. We serve a large rural community of kind and appreciative patients with high quality state-of-the-art dentistry. We have had a high demand for appointments and are able to keep another practitioner busy. Owner doctor is willing to teach and is patient with new graduates. Our family-oriented practice offers clear aligners, implant treatment, and one-day crown visits, digital 3D films, along with all other generalized & esthetic dental care. Responsibilities: Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services Consult with other dental specialists when necessary Supervise staff Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

Qualifications: DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry Current state license Previous experience in clinical or private practice CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends Excellent bedside manner Strong verbal and written communication skills
