Overview:
Apogee Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer provides senior-level engineering support for facility architecture and engineering efforts, focusing on mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and building mechanical infrastructure.
**Contingent Upon Contract Award**
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze mechanical systems for new and existing facilities.
Develop specifications, drawings, and calculations for HVAC, fluid systems, and other mechanical systems.
Conduct trade studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine optimal mechanical solutions.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
Support risk assessments and performance evaluations of mechanical systems.
Prepare and present technical documentation and reports.
QualificationsMinimum Experience
Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen Clearance: TS/SCI Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
Education / Years of Experience:
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in mechanical engineering or closely related functional area.
Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Demonstrated experience in facility mechanical system design and analysis, preferably supporting DoD or similar missions.
