Role Description: This full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role is based in Manhattan, NY. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including performing comprehensive health assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based care plans in collaboration with radiologists and other clinicians. Responsibilities include educating patients about diagnostic findings, treatment options, and preventive care, as well as coordinating follow-up services and referrals. The role involves documenting encounters accurately, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements, and contributing to a high-quality, patient-centered experience. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support early detection initiatives that align with Simon Med’s precision diagnostics and longevity-focused mission.
Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State and national certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, AGNP, or equivalent).Clinical expertise in internal medicine, longevity medicine, and dermatology highly recommended, including performing histories, physical exams, and managing common acute and chronic conditions. Experience ordering, interpreting, and integrating diagnostic imaging and laboratory results into patient care plans. Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain complex diagnostic information in clear, supportive language. Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, technologists, and care coordinators in a fast-paced clinical setting. Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort working in a technology-enabled care environment. Prior experience in outpatient, primary care, radiology, or preventive health settings is preferred. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. CPR/BLS (and ACLS, if applicable) certification and ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and credentials.
