About the role

Regional Manager Mosquito Squad is passionate about helping protect families nationwide from the dangers and irritations of pest. The Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring that pesticide operations and additional home services are conducted safely, legally, and efficiently across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and surrounding states while driving additional growth opportunities. This includes overseeing and supporting local managers, ensuring that all regions adhere to safety and pesticide regulations, and collaborating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities: Launch and oversee exclusion and termite departments while also supporting pest control operations as needed. Oversee daily operations at multiple sites in the region. Manage local managers and supervisors at each location. Set goals, check performance, and provide regular feedback. Make sure all sites follow safety rules and regulatory requirements. Help identify problems like staffing issues or training needs. Ensure teams are trained and certified properly to handle pesticides. Lead and support during inspections, audits, and incidents. Track compliance and report any issues or progress to leadership. Work with corporate departments to keep operations consistent. Communicate and collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, HR, and Compliance, to ensure alignment on operational and personnel matters. Willingness to shave or trim facial hair to ensure a proper respirator seal, per OSHA and company safety policies. Assist with additional assignments and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Background in operations, safety, hazardous materials, or a similar area.5+ years of experience in pesticide operations or regulatory work.3+ years of experience leading teams, staff, and managing multiple sites.
  • Good understanding of pesticide laws and safety standards.
  • Strong organization, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability and willingness to travel, as needed, across all regions.
  • Outdoor & Environmental Requirements:
  • Regular work outdoors in extreme heat/cold, high humidity, and direct sun exposure.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting 75 lbs, working in extreme outdoor conditions.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, walking, standing, kneeling, and climbing while carrying up to 75 lbs.
  • Work on rough, uneven, and sloped ground, often with vegetation and insects.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
  • Early morning start times and long shifts may be required during peak pesticide season.
  • Shave or trim facial hair to ensure a proper respirator seal, per OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Ability to work in an office environment.
