Public Finance Director — Strategic Budget & Leadership

The City of Arcata seeks an experienced finance leader to direct budgeting, accounting and financial reporting in a public sector setting. This hands-on role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day financial management and staff leadership. Responsibilities include preparing the annual budget, forecasting revenues, managing cash and investments, overseeing audits and compliance, and providing financial analysis to the City Council and staff.
