Position Summary: The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of Innovative Refrigeration Systems' marketing activities while also coordinating administrative and operational activities that support the Marketing and Training functions. This position supports social media, marketing campaigns, conferences and trade shows, promotional materials, recruiting marketing, company events, and other marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator also provides administrative support for Industrial Refrigeration Technical College (IRTC) classes, purchasing, supplies, vendors, and other departmental activities. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual looking to build a career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience across social media, events, content, brand, and marketing operations.
Essential Responsibilities: Coordinate day-to-day marketing projects and activities, ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Support execution of marketing campaigns across social media, email, website, events, and other channels. Coordinate the company's social media presence, including scheduling posts, developing captions, coordinating creative assets, and maintaining the social media calendar. Work with Marketing team members to coordinate content, graphics, photography, video, and other assets needed for campaigns and social media. Assist with the development and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, promotional materials, and sales collateral. Coordinate marketing support for Recruiting initiatives, career fairs, apprenticeship programs, employee communications, and employer branding activities. Coordinate company participation in conferences and trade shows, including registrations, sponsorships, booth requirements, promotional materials, shipping, travel-related coordination, and other event logistics. Maintain conference and event schedules, deadlines, registrations, and supporting documentation. Coordinate promotional item inventory and ordering for conferences, recruiting events, customer events, and other company activities. Support company events and employee engagement activities, including coordination of food trucks, vendors, schedules, and related logistics. Provide administrative support for IRTC classes, including materials, meals, records, certificates, communications, and other classroom logistics. Coordinate ordering and availability of classroom materials and supplies needed to support IRTC training activities. Process purchase requests, coordinate orders, communicate with vendors, and maintain appropriate records for Marketing, Training, and departmental supplies. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for assigned office, marketing, training, and event supplies. Assist with maintaining organized marketing files, digital assets, vendor information, calendars, and project documentation. Communicate with employees, vendors, customers, training participants, and other internal and external contacts as needed to coordinate assigned activities. Support Marketing team members with administrative and project coordination needs. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: RequiredStrong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and other external contacts. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and team members. Comfortable using social media platforms in a professional or business environment. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while seeking direction when appropriate. Willingness to learn and develop across multiple areas of marketing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, administration, or a related field. Internship, college, volunteer, or project experience involving marketing, social media, communications, or event coordination. Experience creating or scheduling social media content. Familiarity with basic marketing, design, email, social media, or project management platforms. Experience coordinating events, conferences, training programs, or vendors.
