Water And Sewer Division Skilled Manual Laborer The Town of Burlington is seeking an individual to perform skilled manual work for the Water & Sewer Division related to the general operation, maintenance and repair of wastewater collection systems under the direction of the Superintendent of the Water & Sewer Division. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: Service, maintain and repair pumps and auxiliary machinery and equipment Daily readings of pump station meters and gauges; maintain charts, records, and logs of activities Install, maintain, repair, test, and adjust machinery used in the sewer collection systems Utilize work order system and other electronic devices to complete daily assignments Operate specialized equipment including air compressors and mechanical drives Operate and maintain gasoline and diesel engines Assist in snow removal operations; subject to emergency recall Assist with other general facility maintenance and public works operations, as necessary
