Overview In this role you will support a government client as a Senior Systems Engineer, focusing on enterprise data protection and recovery. You will work in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment with cross-functional teams to safeguard data across on-prem and cloud targets. You will design and optimize the Enterprise Data Protection & Recovery System and ensure continuous operations through on-call support. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive base salarycomprehensive benefitsbonus/award programsgrowth opportunitieson-site workprofessional development Responsibilities Manage daily operations of production Commvault systems and related components Support data recovery efforts across Exchange, Windows, Unix, Oracle, and SQL environments Plan, design, and evaluate hardware and software to enhance the enterprise data protection and recovery stack Create and update standard operating procedures and technical documentation Provide 24/7 on-call support and participate in on-site data center activities Travel to multiple data centers as required Key requirements 6+ years of relevant data protection experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Proven expertise in enterprise data protection and recovery systems Experience with PURE, Oracle Cloud, AWS S3/EC2, GCP, Commvault, and related targets Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, and SQL in protected environments Familiarity with VMware ESX/vSphere, cloud technologies, IT security and encryption Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearanceclear written and verbal communication to diverse stakeholdersstrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesability to work in cross-functional teams Commvault data protection software and Hyperscale Net App data protection targetsPURE Flash Array/Flash Blade
