SUMMARY: Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years high-risk labor and delivery experience required
License: Current New York State Registered Nurse License. BLS Required, Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months, and NRP upon completion of orientation
Working Conditions: Derived Working Conditions Essential:
  • Significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity
  • Significant occupational risk
  • Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
  • Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
