Federal Construction – SSHO and/or QCM

Position Summary: Huot Construction & Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial and federal construction projects. This position is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship. Candidates withEM 385-1-1 experience, SSHO qualifications, and/or Quality Control Manager (QCM) certificationare strongly encouraged to apply. Must be available to travel for project assignments and willing to relocate to the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area if not currently residing within commuting distance. Manage all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Maintain project schedules and develop short-term look-ahead schedules. Enforce company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements. Conduct daily jobsite inspections and document project progress. Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and safety meetings. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documents. Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts and project risks. Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout construction. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities. Utilize Procore for project documentation, reporting, and communication. Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and project records.
