About the role

My client is looking to hire a Scientific Affairs Director specializing in vaccines to support regulatory success in a new biomarker technology field.
Responsibilities: Help vaccine developers in producing immune-response data for regulatory submissions. Establish connections with key figures in vaccine research within academia, industry, and government. Identify gaps in vaccine development and demonstrate how the technology can enhance immune-response profiling and immunogenicity evaluation. Foster scientific collaborations with academic researchers leading to publications. Work closely with sales teams and application experts as the vaccine specialist. Share insights from the field with R&D and product management teams to influence product direction. Act as a scientific representative at conferences, producing and delivering webinars, blogs, and presentations.
Qualifications: PhD, MD, or PharmD with vaccine-related regulatory experience. Comprehensive understanding of protein detection assays, their evolution, and usage. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Business savvy with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. Innovative, cooperative, and self-driven, with a history of taking the lead. Demanding high standards, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. This role is remote and open to candidates in the US or Europe, requiring regular travel with some overnight stays.
