Inventory Specialist Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Specialist and take ownership of ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. Based in Central Wisconsin, this pivotal role combines meticulous record-keeping, collaboration with multiple departments, and a focus on continuous improvement to support our company's operational excellence.
Wage: $24.00 to 26.00 per hour
What You'll Do:
Record, validate, and reconcile daily production data, ensuring precision in all reports and entries.
Collaborate with production, warehouse, and retail teams to perform physical counts and investigate discrepancies, maintaining inventory integrity.
Support inventory reconciliation activities, including physical counts, mass balances, and verifying inventory movements.
Contribute to process improvements by providing feedback on procedural updates and adapting to new inventory scanning technologies.
Assist with warehouse organization and ensure timely communication across departments.
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional growth through effective communication and teamwork.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus
- Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inventory management systems or similar ERP platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and perform mass balance investigations
- Knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, orAt least 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, production, or logistics
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 10 to 40 pounds
- Flexible schedule to accommodate an 8 to 10-hour workday, with additional hours as needed
- On-site presence in Wisconsin is required; this position is not remote
