Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift | 4-Day Work Week Plastic Ingenuity is hiring a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector to help ensure the products we manufacture meet our customers' quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll inspect products, take measurements, identify defects, and work directly with our production teams to solve quality issues. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable using measurement tools, and enjoy figuring out why something isn't right, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do:
As a Quality Inspector, you'll be an important part of our manufacturing team. You'll help catch problems early and make sure our products meet customer expectations before they leave our facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting manufactured parts for defects and quality concerns
- Performing quality tests and taking product measurements
- Reading and following quality specifications and customer requirements
- Using tools such as calipers, gauges, CMMs, vision systems, and other measuring equipment
- Identifying and documenting products that do not meet specifications
- Investigating defects and helping determine what may have caused the problem
- Reviewing inspection results and communicating quality concerns to Production
- Helping employees understand quality requirements, sampling procedures, and testing expectations
- Maintaining and distributing gauges, fixtures, inspection tools, and quality check sheets
- Ensuring measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated
- Entering inspection and quality information into computer systems
- Supporting ISO requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Working with Production and other departments to continuously improve product quality
- What We're Looking ForRequired:
- High school diploma or GEDStrong attention to detail
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read specifications and follow inspection requirements
- Ability to recognize and communicate product defects or quality concerns
- Comfortable using computers to enter and review information
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with calipers, gauges, CMMs, vision systems, or other inspection equipment is a plus.

Your Schedule3rd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:00 AMWork four 10-hour shifts and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off every week.
