In-Person Title I Tutor: Tailored Student Growth

Position Title: Title I Tutor Reports To: Title I Director FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Schedule: Hourly Work Days: As Needed Essential Duties: Provide supplemental, in-person tutoring/academic assistance in the student’s area or areas of greatest need. Use differentiated instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs, helping them grasp challenging concepts. Collaborate with the student’s teacher concerning student academic needs, strengths, and weaknesses and how best to meet the student’s needs. Engage students in appropriate academic activities. Help students develop strong study skills. Establish and maintain rapport with students. Maintain records of student progress. Provide evaluations and other reports as requested by the Title I Department. Participate in scheduled meetings. Monitor progress and analyze data to tailor instruction based on the students’ specific needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
