The City of Waxahachie is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to join our Utilities Department. The City of Waxahachie offers a competitive salary and benefit package to our employees. Salary Range Maintenance Technician I: $51,486.47 - $72,081.06 (DOQ)Salary Range Maintenance Technician II: $56,763.84 - $79,469.37 (DOQ)
Requirements: Maintenance Technician IEducation, Training, and
Experience:
High School diploma or GED.Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance. Six months minimum of mechanical experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
A valid state driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment. Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate valid minimum Class D Wastewater Operator, and a Class D Water Operator License (within 12 months) issued by the State of Texas. Experience:
High school diploma or GED.Two years of equipment maintenance experience. Licenses and Certificates: A valid Texas driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment. Possession and ability to maintain an appropriate valid minimum Class D Wastewater Treatment Operator, and a Class D Water Operator License issued by the State of Texas.
