Job Description Job Description NOW HIRING: QUALITY CONTROL LINE INSPECTORPay & Available Shifts1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM:$21.00/hour2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM:$23.00/hour3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM:$23.00/hour
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine quality inspections on filling, labeling, and packaging lines.
- Verify line clearance and setup before production begins and during changeovers.
- Inspect fill levels, container integrity, labeling, coding, and overall product appearance.
- Identify and report defects including leaks, mislabeling, contamination, and other non-conformances.
- Ensure production activities follow cGMP requirements, SOPs, and FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211.Complete inspection logs, batch records, deviation reports, and other required documentation.
- Collect in-process samples according to established sampling plans.
- Perform visual and basic inspection checks and submit samples to the QC laboratory when required.
- Verify correct labels, cartons, containers, and other production components.
- Confirm material reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
- Support investigations and escalate quality issues appropriately.
- Work closely with Production, QA, Warehouse, and QC teams.
- Support internal, customer, and FDA audits.
- What We're Looking For Required:
- High school diploma or GED.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and ability to escalate quality concerns.
- Basic math and inspection skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Associate degree.1-3 years of experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, OTC, or related manufacturing.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211.Knowledge of Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
