The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), algorithm development and system performance. The Radar Systems Department within the SE&TC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to help in the development of requirements, concepts of operations and algorithms, and the execution of integration and analysis activities. In this role, you’ll collaborate across disciplines and partner closely with engineering teams to turn ideas into integrated, working solutions. Develop concepts of operations for radar systems. Develop Radar systems/software requirements. Be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data Be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution. Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions. Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers. May require up to 20% travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations to support test events and mission execution. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with systems hardware, systems/software requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test ~ Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming language. Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architecture. Proven experience in system-level requirements development, documentation, and maintenance, or design and development of system-level software architecture. Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo or other digital engineering tools. Current/Active DoD security clearance.
