About the role

Overview In this role, you will support bp’s Mobility & Convenience Americas strategy by delivering analyses, structured problem solving, and hands-on delivery support for high-impact transformations. You’ll partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. You will generate market and performance insights to inform decisions, and help craft compelling narratives for leadership and governance forums. Compensation / Benefitsflexible working optionsgenerous paid parental leaveretirement benefits including 401k matchinghealth, vision, and dental insurancelife and disability insurancewellbeing programs Responsibilities Contribute to strategy development by analyzing options and aligning with low-carbon ambitions Support transformation initiative delivery, including workstream coordination and milestone tracking Perform targeted analyses of market trends, customer behavior, and financial performance to inform decisions Assist in breaking down complex questions into actionable components and generate data-backed recommendations Help translate priorities into roadmaps and track performance metrics through implementation Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Products, Operations, Finance, Digital, Policy, Sustainability) to gather inputs and validate assumptions Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and strategic narratives for leadership and governance forums Support development of business cases and financial analyses by documenting assumptions and identifying risks and value drivers Key requirements Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification; MBA beneficial but not required 3–7 years post-university experience in strategy, business analysis, or consulting-related roles Experience in top-tier consulting, private equity, or investment banking preferred Exposure to oil & gas or broader energy sector (preferred)Experience or familiarity with retail, mobility, or convenience industries (advantageous)Strong organizational and project-management capabilities Ability to perform structured thinking and data-driven analysis Clear, concise communication for senior stakeholders Collaborative, cross-functional team experience Awareness of market dynamics, customer needs, and policy/regulatory considerations Structured thinking Analytical mindset Clear communication Analytical thinking Data analysis and interpretation Financial modelling support
