Job Description
Summary: Join Salina Regional Health Center as a Pre-Op Registered Nurse and provide high-quality nursing care for surgical patients in an ambulatory/surgery setting. Location Salina, Kansas Employment TypeFull-Time | Permanent PayRelocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 Schedule Day ShiftFull-Time Weekend and on-call requirements discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Prepare patients for surgical procedures. Monitor patients before surgery and ensure readiness. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and families regarding pre-operative care. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing (Required)BSN Preferred
  • Current Kansas RN LicenseBLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
  • Recent hospital experience preferred
