Salary: Up to $130,000 Base + Per Diem for Traveling Candidates + Benefits
We are working with an established General Contractor looking to bring an experienced Construction Superintendent into its team for an automotive dealership project in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor specialising in commercial construction, particularly automotive dealerships, showrooms and associated facilities. The initial project is based in Miami, with the potential to travel to other projects once completed. We're looking for a hands-on Superintendent who enjoys running projects, managing subcontractors and taking ownership of construction activities from start to finish. The Role: As Superintendent, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
Responsibilities include: Managing onsite construction activities from mobilisation through completion. Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel. Overseeing ground-up construction, renovations and dealership fit-outs. Managing project schedules and 3-week look-ahead planning. Coordinating structural, architectural, MEP and finishing trades. Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship. Working closely with Project Managers, owners and subcontractors. Managing site inspections, deliveries and construction logistics. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent with a General Contractor. Strong commercial construction experience. Experience with automotive dealerships, showrooms, retail or similar commercial projects is highly desirable. Experience managing ground-up construction and/or major renovation projects. Strong subcontractor management and scheduling skills. Ability to independently manage day-to-day onsite operations. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for future projects as required. Previous automotive dealership experience would be a major advantage, but we are equally interested in experienced commercial Superintendents from other sectors. Interested?
