About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) - NICUWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This position requires dedication to providing exceptional care for critically ill newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates, including those with complex medical conditions.
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology to monitor and support critically ill infants.
- Participate in the care of patients with diverse diagnoses, including: Abdominal wall defects
- Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE)
- Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) and Respiratory Failure Syndromes (RFS)
- Drug exposure and withdrawal
- HypoglycemiaSepsisTracheoesophageal Fistula (TEF)
- Duodenal Atresia
- Diaphragmatic Hernia
- Urethral Stenosis
- MyelomeningoceleRetinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
- Administer special procedures including full body cooling, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other NICU units or facilities as needed.
- Provide weekend coverage every other weekend unless indicated otherwise.

Qualifications:
Must possess at least two years of NICU experience. Experience with EPIC documentation system is required (minimum of 1 year).Valid SC nursing license and mandatory certifications including BLS, NRP, and STABLE.Preferred experience in Level II and III NICU settings.
Shift Details:
