Business Analyst

Harbor East Partners is seeking a Business Analyst in San Diego, CA. This full-time role involves analyzing data and identifying trends to provide strategic insights for business decisions. The Business Analyst will gather and interpret data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant documents. This data will be used to create detailed reports that provide insights into business operations and performance. The Business Analyst will also collaborate with stakeholders, such as managers, department heads, and other team members, to understand their business needs and requirements. By conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys, the Business Analyst will gain a comprehensive understanding of the stakeholders' perspectives. Based on this information, the Business Analyst will propose solutions that address the identified business needs and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with a dedicated team in our San Diego office, actively participating in strategic planning and operational efficiency initiatives. This involves analyzing market trends, developing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to drive the company's growth and success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to contribute to the overall success of the organization. Your contributions will be integral to the company's strategic vision and operational excellence, helping to achieve our collective goals and objectives. The salary range for this position is $42,000 - $56,448, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. To be successful, you should have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, along with experience in data analysis and business intelligence tools. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation. Create and present reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and new systems to enhance operational efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in the financial services industry. Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
