Quality Control InspectorGLOVIS America, Inc. is a third-party logistics provider headquartered in Irvine, CA. Glovis America makes every effort to exceed standards by providing quality service to our customers and vendors of the automotive, freight forwarding, parts distribution, used car, and fuel industries. We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. The Quality Control Inspector will audit the quality of GLOVIS services including, but not limited to, underbody coat applications, vehicle processing operations, PIO parts installations, load line processes, export processes, body shop repairs, and rail loading.
Responsibilities:
- PrimaryPerform new vehicle audits
- Must be able to audit the quality of all GLOVIS services and have the ability to detect minor vehicle issues.
- Must have good color vision.
- Inspect cars using GPQMS Audit App, specialized camera, and/or check sheets.
- Properly document results of the inspection and take pictures of non-conforming items.
- Must be truthful when recording results of inspections.
- Alert Supervisor/Manager of quality concerns
feedback to resolve compliance issues.
Secondary
Audit employee compliance with standardized processes, procedures, bulletins, and work instructions
Assist with creating and monitoring countermeasures
Alert Supervisor/Manager immediately of quality concerns that are found during inspections process
Notify Supervisor/Manager if units flagged for defects are not repaired in a timely manner
Assist with the development of audit strategies, audit related policies and procedures, and assessment schedules
Assist with training of new staff on quality inspections
