Industrial Sewing Machine Operator The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines, including Serger/Overlock, to sew pre-cut patterns and pieces. The selected individual will be able to join pieces correctly to form finished products, including parts and mats.
Essential Functions: Operate industrial sewing machines and perform Serger/Overlock and top stitching work. Guide parts under the needle following edges, seams, machine guides, or markings on the material. Cut and organize sewing supplies such as binding, webbing, cord, tape, or thread according to specific specifications or color of material as stated on work order. Maintain raw material, cut excess thread or material. Use proper equipment, tools, and fabrication techniques. Responsible for using a tape measure. Responsible for handling, positioning, and moving materials through the sewing and other manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
Must have: Serger sewing machine experience: Minimum 3 years (Required) Sewing/Upholstering experience preferred Attention to detail. Demonstrate mechanical skills.
