About the role

Die Maintenance (Tool & Die Maker)A historic Japanese automotive supplier is seeking a highly skilled Die Maintenance professional for its manufacturing facility. This role focuses on the hands-on repair, continuous maintenance, and precise adjustment of molds and dies to ensure optimal production efficiency and minimize downtime. We are looking for an experienced, skilled worker who can handle grinding, wear-and-tear adjustments, and advanced troubleshooting.

Essential Duties:

Perform highly skilled repair, maintenance, and adjustment of production dies and molds.
Conduct precision grinding and tooling adjustments to address wear and tear on dies.
Troubleshoot die-related issues on the production floor and implement effective, timely solutions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and actively support preventative maintenance programs.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance and longevity.
Working Hours / Working Style8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Overtime is required) 100% On-site

Salary / Benefit$90K - $100K annually + Overtime

Qualifications: Extensive hands-on experience in tool and die maintenance, repair, and precision grinding. Considered a highly skilled or "journeyman" level technician in die maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Japanese language skills are NOT required but would be a plus
