Assistant Director of Athletic Performance Design and deliver year-round athletic performance programmes for assigned NCAA Division I sports, developing the physical qualities required for collegiate competition. The post also supports weight-room operations, works with athletic training staff and contributes to the broader Athletic Performance department. This role aligns with IQF Level 6 because it independently develops customised year-round athletic performance programmes for assigned NCAA Division I teams, incorporating strength, speed, agility, plyometrics, conditioning, mobility and athlete health considerations. It requires a bachelor's degree, at least two years' full-time Athletic Performance/S&C experience and Level 6 certification. The role appropriately requires degree-level education, professional S&C certification and relevant experience, but USD $51,261 to $55,000 is relatively modest for an autonomous NCAA Division I Level 6 practitioner responsible for year-round programming across assigned varsity teams.
