Position Summary: The Athletic Trainer supports Sports Medicine clinic operations and patient flow. Assists with injury evaluation support, care coordination, and clinic workflow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports clinic operations including intake, rooming, and workflow
Assists providers with injury evaluation support
Supports concussion screening under provider direction
Coordinates imaging, referrals, and follow-up care
Serves as liaison to outreach athletic trainers
Supports return-to-play protocols
Provides patient and family education
Documents clinical support activities in EMRScope and Role Clarification
Primary assignment is clinic-based
Works under provider and clinic leadership direction
Does not independently diagnose or manage conditions
Supports workflow and coordination within clinical pathways

Qualifications:

Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) – TexasATC (BOC) requiredBLS required
Sports medicine or orthopedic experience preferred
Work Environment
Clinic setting
May include occasional outreach or extended hours
