Chief of Staff to Founder - $300k +

The role: This is a true Chief of Staff seat. The Principal gives you an objective, and you take it from there - working out what needs to happen, bringing the right people together, following through to completion and reporting back with clarity and brevity. Over time, "here's what I want accomplished - please handle it" becomes the whole conversation. The model is the Principal's exceptional aviation captain: complete trust, impeccable boundaries, everything simply runs. What you will own The properties - remodels, storm repairs, permitting, insurance and preventive maintenance across every residence, with Southern California the immediate priority The bridge between the experts - attorneys, engineers, architects, builders, insurers and vendors - holding the whole picture so only what needs the Principal reaches him A property-management platform such as Nines, built into the single source of truth for every home, vendor, warranty, schedule and open item Complex travel - multi-leg domestic and international trips for family and friends, private aviation, accommodations and sporting logistics, with two or three versions that work ready for the Principal to choose from Support for the family's philanthropic interests as they take shape Representing the Principal with professionals, vendors, business contacts and friends - polished, warm and with excellent judgment Working alongside the existing executive assistant, finance lead and wealth advisors, making everyone's work easier How you work AI-native in daily life and work - research first, think first, arrive with the problem already advanced A systems builder who designs for where the family will be in ten years Strategy is the part you love Equally at ease with an attorney in the morning and a delivery in the afternoon Fully independent - from day one, you lighten the Principal's load Mostly remote - must be available to travel to various homes to oversee projects or meet with key vendors and professionals Location Remote-first and California-based, with travel to the properties whenever a project calls for it. The first week or two is spent in person with the family, because trust is built face to face. After that, the work happens through great systems, clear communication and well-timed site visits.
