Sr Environment, Health and Safety Specialist Job at FX Staffing in Cincinnati Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities: Develop and manage workplace safety and environmental programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations. Conduct facility inspections and identify potential safety hazards. Investigate workplace accidents and implement preventive measures. Develop and deliver employee safety training. Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with appropriate parties. Work with supervisors and employees to improve safety practices. Track safety performance and recommend improvements. Coordinate safety audits and regulatory inspections. Provide safety reports and recommendations to management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and workplace safety requirements. Experience conducting safety training and accident investigations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with employees and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Construction industry experience preferred.
