About the role

Regional Sales Manager – Plastics Capital Equipment Remote | Southeast / South Central U.S.We are partnering with a well-established, global manufacturer to identify an experienced Regional Sales Manager to support continued growth across the Southeast and South Central United States. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with a proven track record selling capital equipment into the plastics manufacturing industry. Territory Fully remote position. Candidates must reside in the Southeast. Regional travel is required approximately 50%.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive regional growth
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the plastics industry
  • Build relationships with executive, engineering, production, and maintenance leaders
  • Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles from prospecting through closing
  • Understand customer manufacturing needs and present technical equipment solutions
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts
Qualifications:
  • Proven capital equipment sales experience within the plastics industry is required
  • Direct experience selling injection molding machines and/or extrusion machinery is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of plastics processing and manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with regional travel
