With an accent on local high-quality Appalachian cuisine, this provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary flair and leadership skills. You will assist the Executive Chef with responsibilities for the entire kitchen operation, including menu creation, food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of food presentation. Will lead a team of 6-8 culinary professionals, inspiring them to achieve excellence and exceed guest expectations and collaborate with a highly talented Executive Pastry Chef. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working as part of a team, and is eager to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities of the Luxury Resort Executive Sous Chef: 1. Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent high-quality food production, and sanitation.2. Assist with developing innovative and exciting menus3. Manage entire kitchen including inventory, budgeting, and cost control. 4. Train, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals.5. Collaborate w/FOH to enhance the dining experience for our guests. 6. Be accessible to the guest. Qualifications of the Luxury Resort Executive Sous Chef:1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or 1+ year as CDC or Executive Sous high-quality establishment. 2. Proven track record of menu creation, showcasing creativity and culinary expertise. 3. Strong leadership skills - ability to train and motivate a culinary team. 4.
