About the role

Order Shipper The order shipper is responsible for accurately quality checking, packaging, labeling and manifesting customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity. Responsible for the completeness and the accuracy of all orders. In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in shipping, package handling, stock put away and replenishment, other basic inventory control functions, and basic receiving functions. Compensation will be $17 an hour.
Job Responsibilities: Verify box or tote contents match the customers order Securely organize and pack product in the appropriate shipping box or envelope Remove any unnecessary product labels and/or work orders Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed Troubleshoot shipping issues and work to resolve them Sort orders by carrier and ship method Identify picking errors sending those order back to the appropriate pick zone Gather extra product found in orders to be returned to the inventory dept Close carriers daily at the appropriate scheduled time Shippers must meet production standards during peak season Follow all safety protocols and guidelines Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook Maintain cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies
