About the role

Overview: We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems across our production facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial electrical fundamentals, automated systems, and mechanical maintenance/repair. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse systems, including high and low voltage electrical components, sensors, vision inspection systems, and automated machinery while following safety procedures and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Processes).
Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot complex issues related to PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems using schematics, calibration tools, and precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot high and low voltage electrical equipment while using electrical schematics and diagrams. Conduct calibration of sensors, vision inspection systems, and other automation components to ensure precision operation. Install, test, and commission new electrical systems or upgrades in manufacturing equipment, including high voltage and low voltage circuits. Ability to fabricate specialty components while utilizing skills in cutting, forming, welding and assembly while following safety and quality standards. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to Lockout-Tagout, machine guarding, electrical and pneumatic equipment. Use of tools such as electrical testers and other diagnostic instruments to measure electrical voltage, amperes, continuity accurately during troubleshooting. Assist with the integration of distributed control systems (DCS), and automation platforms. Skills Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures in process machinery related to conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. General understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms. Experience working with vision inspection systems and sensors used in manufacturing quality control processes. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and sense of urgency to reduce downtime and improve production output.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
