Retail Salesperson – Mattress & Bedding

As a Sleep Expert at Mattress Firm, you’ll guide customers through a consultative sales experience to find the right mattress and sleep solutions. You’ll learn our product portfolio, ask the right questions, and recommend tailored options while delivering outstanding, friendly service. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, demonstrating products, processing sales, and maintaining a clean, well-merchandised showroom. Greet customers and provide a friendly, consultative sales experience. Assess customer sleep needs and recommend appropriate mattresses and accessories. Demonstrate product features and explain differences between options. Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle payments. Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards. Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals. Follow up with customers to support satisfaction and repeat business. Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products and sales techniques. Support inventory processes, including stock checks and product placement. Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent, customer-first experience.
