Senior Software Engineer - Generative AI

Overview In this role you will help build the Generative AI infrastructure and tools that power C3 AI’s enterprise applications. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to deploy state-of-the-art generative models at scale. You’ll own and evolve end-to-end ML pipelines in a distributed environment and mentor junior teammates. This is a hands-on position focused on turning research into production-ready capabilities that drive digital transformation for customers. Compensation / Benefitscompetitive compensationequity planexcellent benefits California base pay range 150,000—198,000 USD Responsibilities Build systems and tools to enable Generative AI in applications using the C3 AI Platform Enable scalable end-to-end ML pipelines in a distributed environment with heterogeneous hardware Collaborate with data scientists to research and implement efficient training/fine-tuning approaches Partner with product owners to lead long-term development of the C3 Generative AI Suite Mentor junior team members Key requirements Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields; MS preferred Excellent Python programming; Java and Java Script preferred Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling/optimization, DRY code, OO and functional programming Deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning Track record of applying ML in production systems End-to-end project ownership Strong listening and communication skills Interest in Generative AI technologies (e.g., Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, ChatGPT Plugins)Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced software companystrong communicationmentorshipresults-oriented Python Java Java Script
