Professional Pet Groomer - Commission Based Compensation

Qualifications: Professional pet grooming experience working with a variety of dog breeds and coat types Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments, including large breed dogs Strong customer service and communication skills Grooming certification is a plus Portfolio and references required

Key Responsibilities: Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression Evaluate each pet’s coat and skin conditionand communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations Safely handle pets ofvarious sizesand temperaments during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift Schedule and compensation: Compensation for this role is based on 50% commission on grooming services, or $11.41 per hour worked, whichever is greater. Schedule is flexible, full or part-time availability needed Monday-Friday.
